Procrastination

So my office (accounting) is never open on weekends, and we are closed Monday, so this is literally the last day businesses had to call me in 2017.

All day long “So I’m _______ and I’m trying to clear out my invoices for the year….” It drove me nuts. You are calling now for billing 6+ months old? We’ll still pay, but you never wondered about this once in all that time? And of course, it’s my fault when they don’t have all of the TWO pieces of information we need to pay them.

So at 4:59, one minute before our office closes, when the phone rang, I thought NO. Not this time. I will not help this person who waited until the literal last minute they had to call me in 2017. See you next year, buddy.
