So I get a customer on the line, confirm who he is, and start with my script when he interrupts and starts calling me stupid and blah blah. I tell him we’re attempting to collect a debt when he starts cursing and telling me to get a job. My response?
“Sir, my job is to collect the debt you amassed. Was this because you are unemployed? ”
