Most devious thing you’ve experienced at a call center?

Personally, I worked at a really shifty outbound one disguised as a legitimate business. The office being so nice was what made me think it wasn’t shady, but it had the most ridiculous business practices. I felt like a conman.

The breaking point was when the sales supervisor forced the employees to stand and dial as some sort of punishment when we didn’t hit the sales targets. What borderline illegal things did you witness/were you forced to do?

What do you think?

“Why do you need my name?…… I want to speak to your supervisor.”
