For context, I work at a call center that’s been badly understaffed for a while and therefore has notoriously long hold times (over an hour on a busy day). Just yesterday I got a call that I picked up and heard hold music playing, and honestly I just started laughing, I can’t even say why. After about 30 seconds of waiting I starting reading the dead air script and had the hardest time reading it without continuing to crack up. Has this happened to anyone else or just me?
