An older woman called in tonight, gave a 15 minute rant about who she spoke with before (I was the fourth rep she spoke with). Apparently she kept asking for HBO On Demand, which the rep showed her, but really meant the guide. It took about 30 seconds to educate her on where to find what she was looking for. She continued to ramble about bad service and telling me what changes I need to make to our software (umm sure I’m the one who does that?). Somehow she confused her remote for her phone, starts screaming because she can’t hear me, exclaims that “they must be smoking dope”. I ended the call after adding that note to her account to warn the next rep. At least it wasn’t a death threat (third shift in a row for those) I’m physically and emotionally exhausted from this job. I just want to go home and sleep.
