So I had this call about 10 minutes ago. Lady calling about her daughter’s device that got lost. They have this protection plan on it. Told her insurance does not cover lost devices unless it was from USA. Lady starts crying how she wish she was in America and issues going on with their lives.
So I tried consoling the lady and later she bursts out laughing, “Im just kidding, we will just get a new one.”
I was caught off guard with this and just replied “oh you got me worried there for a second.” Call ended in a good tone, the story (unknown if true or not) but nevertheless very depressing if i was true.
