Me: Thank you. And the city, state, and zip code?
Caller: (silence) Anytown.
Me: Thank you. And the state and zip code?
Caller: (more silence) North Tacoma.
Me: Thank you. And the zip code?
Caller: (even longer silence, annoyed tone) 12345.
Me: Thank you!
Sometimes they don’t know their own address, or just keep repeating their email address. At least in this call center I only need mailing addresses and don’t have to deal with the difference between a mailing & physical address, or state of residence issues
