Sometimes I hate customers.

Had a call today where I was accused of undermining someones disability by asking them questions about their reason for calling, saying how dare I after they were just in an accident and have amnesia. Then I get called sexist for misgendering them by calling them “maam” after I ask them to stop screaming but still doesnt tell me what to refer to them as, and then told how its not their job to know the answers to my questions. I work for a dispute center at a major credit card. She was upset because she made one dispute and not 2 and was refunded back the money for both charges… but im still the bad guy for doing my normal job. Caller then calls back and claims I threatened them and belittled them by asking anything to help understand the issue further. She couldnt tell me what date the merchant charged or how much it was or even the name but I was expected to know by reading her mind.
