Cycling your call.

[ad_1]

This takes place a few days ago. I actually work tech support for retailer systems. And my phone has a caller ID on it, so I can tell who’s calling before I answer.

Busy Saturday, which is odd since Saturdays I normally get 15 calls the whole 8 hour shift that day. I had hours with 20 calls in an hour.

I get this guy yelling that his machines are down. There was a power outage and most of his other machines were back up. To determine if the outlet had power I asked him if the printer button was lite up for the machine. He says he’s not on site and puts me on hold, accidentally hanging up on me in the process.
That’s fine. I’m too busy to wait for him.

Blah blah.. work work work.

Bit later I get an automatic call back message. I recognize the name. Busy tone. So I hang up.

More work work work.

He calls back finally and he’s on site now, or pretending to be. I walk him though restarting the first machine and checking the modem. Machine doesn’t power on. Modem is good. Printer is good. Well, dang going to need a tech for that. But first the other machine.

He hangs up on me again as I’m getting ready to start troubleshooting the other machine. Keep in mind I haven’t even got his information to send out a tech yet.

I get at least two more automated call back messages from him too. Let them connect but get no answer.
Which clears out my call back que. Also he was rude in each message too, yelling as well.

Instead of waiting in que or just leaving a call back. He called 5 times or more to end up further back in the que. And still might of not gotten his machines back up.
