In my first call centre job, I was sent to coaching and one-on-one with a supervisor because I submitted a manager request form regarding a customer. The customer said that she already contacted her card provider and also checked our website but her payment still won’t go through, reason why she got cut off. Since I had nothing to do with it anymore and no departments to transfer to, my best option was to seek a manager assistance. Next day, I was sent to coaching and got scolded by the manager who received that request and I lost my incentives for having a violation. In that moment, I said, “fuck it.” You ain’t seeing me for another week here.
