Hey guys,

I’ve been working for a rep for a big financial broker. The pay is not that bad it’s around 55-60k depending on the experience. I’ve been here for around nine months and I’m working from home, which is nice. The job is challenging and does include a little bit of sales. The last few months I’ve gotten pretty depressed since I do consider it a dead-end job and I’m not really learning anything new so I’m not growing as a person. Every time I clock in I know that I’m going to be taking calls back to back, essentially tied to a desk. In my previous job I had a lot of freedom, so it’s been a hard transition. How do you guys deal with things like that? There’s a lot of metrics, like avg notes time is around 2 mins and talk time is 9mins.
