Who else gets sometimes burnt out on answering the same questions?

[ad_1]

I work at a utility company. I answer people’s calls over setting up new service at new addresses, closing other accounts at places they’re moving out, going over bills, helping people go over payment plans if any available, etc.

Seems like the dozens of calls I answer each day fall into those main categories. Most calls are rather simple and easy. Though when people call about their bills being too high the calls can get longer. You must have patience in explaining things multiple times.

There are times in which I wish that I can handle something new or switch to other tasks. Taking the same kinds of calls can get boring and at times a nuisance. Anyone else feel getting stuck in that lull of a mindset?

Anyone hate when clients want to confirm all the time things that are already confirmed?
