some people’s stupidity knows no bounds

So this isn’t even the first time this has happened with various callers. I’d say I’ve had at least 20 people do it since I’ve worked here.

I was helping with login support. Tried everything and she still couldn’t get through. I said okay and was nice and fully reset her login. Most of my other coworkers just say sorry try again later.

After the reset I go through and help her register and set up a new username and password.

It brings her back to the beginning, and she gets all upset and says “it’s still not working! It’s saying my password is wrong!”

Like are you kidding me? You literally forgot the details of the account you created 2 minutes ago, and now you’re mad at ME? You cannot make this shit up.
