“I don’t speak on recorded lines!”

[ad_1]

My project is outbound only and we have to open by saying calls are being recorded and the amount of people who freak out over this is crazy. Like, do these people think we’re going to do worse than Google or Meta or any other app or site on your cell phone? Or do they just think their phones aren’t sending their personal data to third party companies?

The funny part is we tell them it’s for training purposes only and they still freak out.

Edit: Well, recording one call paid off. Just had a call where a woman passed the phone to a guy who then confirmed the right party was deceased. Then before hanging up, he clearly told the woman that if she ever passed the phone again he would kick her fucking teeth in. Call is being sent up the chain for potential abuse.
