I am a customer service rep leadership just announced that I will be learning an entirely different csr job on top of mine with no raise. How should I approach this?

I realize that every contract for CSRs says basically you may be asked to do any duties at any time.

However, this just doesn’t seem right to me to increase workload like this without giving a raise.

I am tempted to just quit and do DoorDash, grocery delivery, and find a part time job.

I am only holding out because I am hoping to get offered a different job internally.

I don’t make that much money. Most call centers only have people do one set of products and services. This seems way out of line.

How should I approach my manager about this?

I am thinking I will just as if they can help me get into another job off the call teams.

If that doesn’t pan out within a little over a month I’ll just quit.

I’ve been here 2.5 years and work remotely. I was never told I would have to do this when I started. I feel like management is just doing this because they know what the job market is like and they have the upper hand. Am I wrong to think this is completely immoral and unprofessional?
