I’m sorry, I don’t know if this irks anyone else as much as me but I HATE, I HATE when someone goes through the time to give me their information, whether they verbally say it to me or do it to the IVR just to say: “Well I’m calling for my husband/sister/friend/not me”.
Just spent five minutes trying to get someone to verify the account, and after rummaging through documents to get their own phone number, address, etc, they say: “well, it’s actually not for me, it’s for my neighbor”. This happens on a daily basis at my place.
Like I don’t understand … why are you gonna give me YOUR information when we’re not talking about you? I just don’t get it but I can’t call them out on their stupidity because then QA docks points.
I will never understand.
