Hey so I took a call center job WFH as an answering service, thinking it would be chill, and I was promised at least 2-3 day shifts and 2-3 afternoon/evening shifts per week.
I left from a corporate position M-F 8-5 with the chance to upgrade (stupid move I know), because I was in urgent need of more cash and that job paid better. (Only 3$ more per hours).
Now I have done my training week, was good, thinking I’d like it, now real work week comes around. I have my schedule for 2 months ahead. I am scheduled 4 days per week 4pm to 1am and one day 1pm to 10pm. This is not what they told me.
I’ve done 2 shifts to find that this is TOTALLY not for me and had a nervous breakdown last night.
I spoke with my old manager at previous job, they want me back and are offering me +3.75$/h (beating the call center by .75$)
I am starting back again Monday and have never felt better.
I wanted to know if I will still get paid for my training week and my 3 shifts this week ?
