I have a standard greeting that I say for every single one of my calls. I pick up, recording plays about call being recorded, “Good Morning/Afternoon this is April, what can I do to help today? Probably every other day I have someone get confused and think that I’m saying “Good Morning/Afternoon, is this April?” And I can’t figure it out. Most of the time it’s people with thick accents but 1/3 of the time it’s people with no accent/American accent. I’ve asked my Team lead to listen to a few random of my calls and they say that I’m clearly saying This is April……so I’m completely confused. Any ideas on why this is happening? By the way my name isn’t April……I just chose a fake name for simplicity.
