Rude Elderly People

I understand that people are hard of hearing, and have issues with technology. I am extremely patient and often assigned elderly customers as I take my time and work through the issues to ensure they understand or change what I can to ensure the use of technology is limited so it doesn’t impact them as much moving forward.

99.9% of people are happy with the outcome.

Of course there is always the minority. For those minority, please do not call me disgusting, do not tell me I am discriminating against you or that I am ruining your life.

I am working within the guidelines set out for everyone. No one is given special treatment where I work. It’s black and white. There are no grey areas that I can work magic to change the rules, and being rude or belligerent will not make me want to help you and I will not change my mind.
