My poor “husband”… 🤣

An older man called and said he couldn’t rewind to the start of the movie and that he wanted a replacement cable box. I let him know I had to gather information before I could issue a replacement. He seemed okay at first. Then he went from 0-5000 in a blink because I asked him if his DVR service was working (only the second question I asked). He said I didn’t know what I was talking about and that he needed a new box. I advised that I was asking the question so I could better assist. He repeadted that it had nothing to do with the problem and I don’t know what I’m talking about. I explained how it 100% had everything to do with it, calmly and patiently. He then said i talk too much and need to shut the f*ck up, he knew more than i do and he “felt sorry for my husband because i talk too much”. He asked me to get him to someone else because the DVR question had nothing to do with the fact that he couldn’t rewind. Told him I wouldn’t take his abuse and that anyone else would ask the same question. He insisted he knew more than I did and to just send him a box. I ordered it and let him know that when he gets the new one and it has the same problem, we’re here 24/7 and he can call. He said it wouldn’t have that problem because he knows better, and tried to berate me more, but I wished him a happy New Year and thanked him for calling, ended the call.
