Our SUPS typically don’t come rushing to the phone because most of these customers are on bullshit. Sups want us to take the number down and the supervisors/team leads will call them back at their earliest convenience.
This customer told me she was going to stay on the line until a supervisor came and I told her that she will not because there are other calls in the queue.
The wild thing is, she would likely be able to have her issue solved within the next 30 minutes if she would have just called the appropriate department. But middle age women have no concept of common sense, only entitlement.
