I work for a telecommunications company one of the big three in Canada and I had a “client” call in and demand a technician be sent to a specific ardes. Call went something like this
Me: Hello thank you for calling *** my name is *** who do I have the pleasure of speaking to today?
Cx: this is **** I need a technician sent to this address right away I’ve been trying to call them for three days and I haven’t been able to reach them you need to send some one right away!!!
Me: uhm sir what is the phone number you are trying to reach?
Cx: *****
Me: I’m sorry sir I’m not able to find your account with that number
Cx: are you stupid or what? That’s not my phone number
Me: Okay so you want me to send a technician to a number that’s not yours?
Cx: YES! I can’t get a hold of them!
Me: Sir you cannot demand a technician for a line that’s not under your name, they would have to call us directly and ask for one themselves
Cx: But I need to speak to them right away!
Me: sir I have looked that phone number up on our system and that number does bit belong to us.
Cx: Who else would it belong to?, I’m sure it’s under your company you just don’t want to help me out!!!
Me: Sir I asure you it’s not our service and I cannot send a technician to a service that
1. Does not belong to you
2. Is not actually a number belonging to us
Cx: You bitch transfer me over to you manager!!!! You are not willing to help me
Me: Okay!
