i’m a CSR that works from home and every single day m-f i dread waking up to go answer phones for 8 hours. It’s just the idea of having to listen to so much bs and be held to your company’s dumba** standards. like it gets to a point where if i even hear the beep before the incoming call i instantly get mad. customers just don’t realize that all of their issues and concerns generally boil down to quick fixes if they just shut the hell up for two minutes. stop calling in trying to control the conversation for the love of god. i promise you the info i’m asking for and also providing you is all required.

• “can you hurry up?” no i cannot
• “listen i’m driving right now i can’t do that” then call back later
• “this is my fifth time calling you today… *talks for ten minutes straight even when i have yet to ask verification questions* i literally did not ask nor care what is the issue
• “where are you located?” “in the US” “WHERE IN THE US” IT DOESNT MATTER TELL ME WHAT THE ISSUE IS SO I CAN GET OFF THE PHONE

one day this will all be over. f*ck call centers
