I do post sales support for a big tech company. If people have issues with their delivery and need assistance with exchanged or refunds, they come to me. I am always so polite to customers and understand they are angry about the situation. But when a customer says that the item never arrived, and it’s in our system as delivered, we always have to escalate to our shipment team which can take 3 days. I informed this customer about this timeline and she just started yelling and said “well I’m going to sue you for emotional distress” because she didn’t get her computer yet, even though I let her know we would make the order right for her. I just can’t help myself when customers say those kinds of things I just busted out laughing. Hope I don’t get fired.
