I work in a call centre ofc , I’ve noticed that ever since this whole pandemic started the amount of really , and I mean REALLY stupid calls have skyrocketed. It used to be maybe 1 in 10 calls would make you want to bang you head against the wall, now it’s more like 9 in 10 . I’m talking really silly things like a customer being asked to enter their full name and somehow getting this wrong !! Someone asking me what a browser is , repeating what I just said with no context so I have no idea if their confirming what I said ,asking a question etc , complaining we haven’t told them something … then saying an agent told them previously about what they’re complaining they weren’t told about ! honestly I’m getting concerned about the state of people , sometimes I feel I’m being pranked ! I’m not the only one in my workplace who agrees but wanted to ask the wider reddit community are you getting the same really silly calls,What’s your most “ are you serious “ ones ?
