Does this make sense?

If someone was promoted to fulltime QA and have now been assigned agents to do auditing (listening to/grading calls and calling agents that failed the audit to review their mistakes) should they still be in the queue receiving calls that are essentially back to back making it virtually impossible to audit calls? Btw management is aware that said auditor is still in the queue receiving calls.
