I am unable to remember most of this situation but the main points I can.
Many years ago, I was on LiveChat when the first things out of Karen’s keyboard was how long the wait was. I honestly can’t remember how long it was, but she ranted for at least 5 minutes.
At the time, including her, I had 3 chats going at once. For those that might not know, this particular LiveChat software had these separated chats in 3 tabs and the tab would change colour if someone finished writing something to me, so I just worried about answering questions in the changing colour tabs ignoring everything else.
After however long it was, I had sorted out Karen’s issue, and was just working on the other two before I went to my next break.
Eventually after 14 minutes, I had finished the other two chats, then realised that I had not heard from Karen in that time. I asked her if there was anything else I can help with. She snarkily replied with something like ‘Now you know what it’s like to be waiting for a long time.’
I did not have the heart to mention that I had actually forgotten about her.
