I quit

I did tech support for a contractor to a fruit tech company. I asked for help multiple times in the past year. I asked for more training. All they did was throw articles at me, which is not helpful. I can find articles, but they don’t always give you step by step instructions and there isn’t always one that is applicable. I asked to for a different manager. They refused. My previous manager was helpful and was effective at giving me the training I needed.

The last straw… I complained yesterday to my operations manager about my manager being rude and unhelpful. He said he wouldn’t tell her, but clearly he did because she removed me from the mentoring program for the line I was good at. And she didn’t even have the guts to tell me personally.

So I quit. I’m nervous because while I have some savings, I need another job soon. But I am already less stressed out.

Oh, the company is Transcom. They are all liars and make zero exceptions for anyone’s circumstances due to the pandemic. It doesn’t matter if you or a family member are sick, you have no childcare because everything is closed, etc. They don’t care. They must get paid by the call because they also don’t care if you help the customer, as long as the call is answered.
