Long and dramatic sigh

I think we all have have had this type of customer.

Me: Hello, thank you for calling ______ financial, this is Yoda speaking, can I-

customer interrupts me**

Customer: LISTEN, I need to make my car payment, can you help me or not?

Me: Yes, Ma’am, I just need to verify the account

A few sighs/frustrated words later**

Me: So now that you’re account is verified, would you be paying the full balance due?

Her: Yessss

Me: Okay ma’am, now I need to advise you if you’re going to pay with a debit card, you would need to make a payment through our automated system or online, I can only accept checking information by phone. So I would need your routing and account number.

Her: long and dramatic sigh** Well, I’m driving right now and you’re making this extremely difficult for me, but, whatever.

she should really be pulled over while she does this, but okay**

Her: Okay, the bank number is going to be XXXXX

Me: Okay, now a routing number should only be 9 digits are you sure you’re reading only the 1st 9 digits on the bottom left of your check?

Her: Yeah that’s what it says on my credit card, I don’t know what the issue is.

Me: Ma’am, like I previously mentioned, I would need your routing and checking account number.

Her: Yeah, well, isn’t a credit card number basically the same thing?

wonders how she was even allowed to get a bank account**

Me: Ma’am, do you have access to your online banking or a checkbook?

Her: NO, I already told you I’m driving.

Me: Well, if you have a debit card, I can transfer you to the automated system.

Her: Whatever, just transfer me.

Transfers to automated system**
