A real jerk

My husband and his friend worked in a call center taking calls for a major cellphone retailer. One night, his friend took a call from a particularly upset customer who was making demands that couldnt be met. I dont remember the details of what he wanted but i’ll never forget what he said when he didnt get it. “I hope your kid gets cancer!” and hangs up.

Now, my friend doesnt have kids or plans to have kids so he and my husband thought it was hilarious and laughed about it for weeks. It was the go to insult between for a long time after.
