A supervisor who works in the same unit as me and the guy who sits next to me started acting weird about a month ago. Whenever one of them got up from their desk, the other one did a minute later. All of a sudden they had the same times for their breaks, and they chat constantly. At first it was just regular office flirting that most people do, but then they started getting really close. I figured it was cool, they’re just similar people and get along, but then I found the smoking gun.
A couple nights ago, I was refilling my water bottle, and I saw my coworker get out of the bathroom. I said hey, and he was all huffy and weird, but I heard more noise from the bathroom. I didn’t pay it any mind, filled up my water, went back, passed by th bathroom again and I saw the supervisor leaving the same bathroom. It took me like 10 seconds to fill up my water bottle, and there’s no way she went in, peed, and left before I came back, so I was suspicious. I decided it was too weird not to check out, so I pretended to check my phone and went in the bathroom once she turned the corner. Surprise, surprise, it smelled like sex. And oh look, they didn’t cover up the condom with enough paper towels in the trash.
Obviously I’m shocked and creeped out, because not only is this the dumbest, most “TV show” thing to happen in a workplace, but she’s married and her husband is the coolest guy I know.
I think everybody knows, but I found the evidence unfortunately, and I think they both know I did because they’re both giving me weird looks at work now. I sit next to him too.
This is so stupid! Why the hell are they doing this? Just hang out after your shift ffs. Get a motel room after work! I hate them and I hope they get fired for it, but like, should I say something to another supervisor, or just leave it? I want to just leave it, but also, they suck for doing this at work and I want to bust their chops for it a little. The issue is I have no real proof. Even if I was gross and took a pic of the condom that doesn’t prove it was them. It would be my word against two people, one of whom is a supervisor.
I should just leave it, right?
