Anyone here work in the fraud department for CC/bank?

Wondering if anyone here works/has worked in the fraud department for a credit card company or bank. I’m a small business owner and got a chargeback from a client (who has already used our services) claiming they didn’t recognize the charge. After reaching out to them, they said it was an accident but when they contacted their CC/bank to cancel the dispute they were told it cannot be cancelled. This is the second person to tell me this. So, are these people lying and scamming? Or is a chargeback dispute something that can’t be cancelled once filed?

Also, before anyone says this – yes, the name of our company literally describes exactly what we do so the charge on their statement is obvious what it’s for and both of these disputes occurred within a few days of them using the services. I find it hard to believe they “forgot”.
