When you have IBS and are flaring at work

I realized I needed to rush to the bathroom during a call where I had established “I can’t do anything, call this number in the morning to see if they can do something or if you’re SOL.”

So I tried to wrap it up again.

And again.

And again.

It took a few extra minutes to get off the call. I know I’m working from home, but that doesn’t make the idea of not making it to the bathroom on time any less irritating. I could handle if it was an important call, but this guy was just being stubborn.

I’m sorry, you really think you can make such a major change to your contract at midnight? Maybe you’d know better if you knew how to listen.
