Customer calling a second time and I receive the call, again

So this happens very often, theres only about 10 of us so there are many instances were a customer hangs up, calls back immediately and we receive the call, again. It’s very funny to see the lengths some customers will go through to get you in unnecessary trouble. So here is a conversation of something that happened to me a few months ago.

ME: Thank you for calling, how can I help you

CUSTOMER: Hi, I placed an order yesterday (Monday) and I need it expedited as I need it for this weekend

M: Unfortunately, our production time is 7-10 business days + transit and we do not offer rush services, but let me check with a supervisor to see if there’s anything we can do in this case (there was nothing we could do lol)

C: raising her voice I cant believe I ordered with such an incompetent company, I usually order from different company but I decided to give you guys a chance hangs up

M: not sure if I should cancel the order or just let it be and then I receive another call

M:Thank you for calling, how can I help you

C: Hello I just spoke to someone in your team, extremely rude by the way, and she offered me a free rush on my order but she hung up. I want to speak to a supervisor, I cant believe you let people like her be on your team! Definitely ruining your company’s customer service.

M: changing my tone a bit since I recognized her voice and wanted to see what other bullshit lie she would tell Sure! Please provide me with your order number


M: Is this for ****?

C: Yes! That’s me.

M: Ma’am, actually I am the person you spoke to, I checked to a supervisor and unfortunately as previously mentioned, we are unable to meet your requested date, how would you like to proceed?

C: Oh… *I kid you not there was like a 10 second silence just cancel my order and refund me immediately hangs up

Idk I receive many calls like this but they never stop amusing me at how some people are determined to possibly jeopardizing someone else’s job just get their way.
