I work in tech support and as some of my peers from the industry may know, we needed to make sure everyone was ready for working remotely.
We had probably 1 outage per week that was stressing us out for the last month.
I see a notification on my Teams chat with the following
Subject: Thank you
Description: Just wanted to say a MASSIVE THANK TO YOU ALL – I know you’re all under a lot of stress to support us all remotely but you are SO APPRECIATED AND YOU’RE DOING AN INCREDIBLE JOB! Really grateful to you all. Take care of yourself. [REDACTED]
We get the usual thanks at the end of the conversation. I’m usually smiling when I realize I can crack a joke with them. Most of the users are fine.
But getting a ticket with this is something else. I got teary just reading it.
I will be moving to a different department, but I will frame this ticket and give it to my colleagues as a “parting” gift (we are still in the same office)
