I never stayed after closing to clear the queue.

I worked in a call center for 2 and a half years and never once did I stay after closing. Once that clock struck 9, I was logged out and clocked out. During the whole time, not a single supervisor or manager said a thing. I didn’t know that was a thing until after I left. No one on my team stayed either. Is that abnormal? Even if there were 20 people waiting, we left.
