Me: Hello, thank you for calling X. How may I help you today?

Caller: I was just on the phone a couple minutes ago trying to apply for health insurance! And I never got a call back when the call got disconnected!!

M: I apologize that you did not receive a call back, but I will make sure to call you back if we get disconnected.

C:still very upset The previous caller was helping me apply for health insurance, and was reading something before I could even apply. Can you skip the readings? I already went through this, and I don’t want to go through it again.

M: I apologize, but I would have to read the preliminary readings to you too. Every time you speak to somebody differently, we have to start over at the beginning when you’re looking to complete an application.

C: I don’t understand! I already went through this and don’t want to go through it again!

continues to rant for probably 5+ minutes, even though the readings would have taken me 2 minutes max, and eventually ends up disconnecting the phone on me
