I work in the benefits department for a credit card company

Customer: “WHY am I not receiving email updates about this claim?” Coworker: pulls the claim up to check “Looks like your wife set it up initially so she gave her email” Customer: “okay but why am I not getting the emails?” Coworker: “…” Customer: “You’re avoiding answering my question STOP BEING DIFFICULT”

—I wish I were making this up but no the supervisor is on an escalation call about this issue right now
