I work for a large, global private hire and courier firm and I spoke to a man about transporting an item
“I can’t track the courier”
“Ok let me have a look into the booking… I see it was an indirect service which means you wouldn’t be able to track it. I can see the item is on board”
“So how do I know the driver has picked up the package then?”
At this point I noticed the number he was calling from is the number on the pick up
“Are you at the pick up?”
“Yes”
“Did you hand over the item to the driver?”
“Yes”
“……… Well if you handed the item to him and I can see he has the item, that’s how you know he has the item”
